Hello and welcome!
I am a big fan and a collector of game soundtracks, what you can find on this site are classic game soundtracks, the best from the gaming industry. I’m running this site because I like to share this rather neglected hidden gems of music with you. All the music here is free, no piracy involved, but if you have something against this please let me know and leave a comment here.
Great Idea for your Blog. Keep it up!
thanks! 🙂
Great work, Dominus ~ it’s wonderful to browse your site and be able to revisit some amazing OST’s from my youth. I see you like Chance Tomas’ work on the Quest for Glory V soundtrack – great music : )
thank you! 🙂
Moin,
I told you, I’d send you some recommendations, before I’m leaving the net. In a rush of nostalgia I updated my lazy blog a bit today. Please check out this post – you already seem to have “Shadows over Riva”:
http://game-soundtracks.blogspot.com/2011/02/das-schwarze-auge-realms-of-arkana.html
It’s deep in the 90th, very melodic and obviously midi-based. Well, maybe it’s just nostalgia.
Keep up the good work!
M.
yeap, already have a few posts about these soundtracks, amazing music, maybe my favourite RPG music ever. thanks! 😀
Hi, awesome collection, you should post Legend of Kyrandia soundtrack by Frank Klepacki and Tyrian by Alexander Brandon. My other fav ones are already here 😉
Kyrandia series were great, I shall consider this request, thanks! 🙂
Great! 🙂 And I’m not sure if you are familiar with Machinarium, it’s a very nice puzzle/adventure game with perfect ambient music. You will find some samples on youtube or so.
of course i am, i have the collector’s edition that comes with a soundtrack cd 🙂
Kudos! I should expect that 🙂 I have it on vinyl, it rocks big time … also nice last.fm charts btw 😉
Hey, I don’t know if you remember, but there was a game in 1995 on the Playstation and PC called CyberSpeed. I wrote the soundtrack to that game, and have finally released an album which sounds as I imagined the soundtrack in my head… Took a while, but finally….

Cheers,

Hey Mark, great to see you dropped by! 🙂
sure, I’ll update the website with CyberSpeed as soon as I can 🙂
Hi, thank you for sharing all this music !
Could you advise me some soundtracks that contain a lot of harp sounds ?
sorry but I really can’t help you with that
Love love love the music of older games. Thanks for putting these up!
Hey, good blog,
about the diablo 2 soundtrack cd,
i think i could have it at my mum’s house,
if you really want it, i could search it.
I would be very grateful, it’s been missing from my collection. Also let me know a price, thanks! 🙂
Moin from Hamburg!
Nice Idea you got and a nice Blog too, great work!
As i browsed your Blog I come to Think of the old “Settlers 3”-Soundtrack.
I guess it would be a very nice addition to your Blog.
AFAIK one can find it on his “Settlers 3”-CD #2.
Keep up this work,
Stefan
Hey, this really is a great collection, I am enjoying a Warcraft 1 track right now. A few of these are commercially available, though, in particular a few of the Blizzard titles like Diablo III – Overture, and the 15th Anniversary CD. I would recommend taking those down.
So glad I found your blog, and a fellow lover of video game music old and new! Thank you for your work preserving and sharing this!
Thank you so much for making all these OSTs available! I’ve been looking for a place to find Matt Uelmen’s work and a lot of those old Blizzard soundtracks – awesome work here!
Great site! I too am a fan of video game soundtracks and have a pretty decent collection, including lots of Jeremy Soule!
I really like the list of soundtracks available on BandCamp as well.
Is there any way to donate to the site?
There’s no need for donation, but thank you Brian!
Please can you Post the soundtrack for Harry Potter and the deathly Hallows part 2 videogame?
I’m sorry I don’t have that soundtrack, yet.
I’ve Diablo II and Diablo II Lord Of Destruction both CD soundtracks, if you still being interested on them 😉
Not sure if you are interested, but I have made a custom album cover for the music for the game Dark Reign 2, a game which has, in my opinion, fantastic music and you may enjoy.
http://tinypic.com/r/2afir9k/6
The cover is simple, being derived from one of the wallpapers from the game, but I think suites it.
About Diablo II Expansion soundtrack, you can find it in lossless on Rutracker.org.
I have a request : can you do an adlib version of Lands of Lore I soundtrack ?
Hey there, a nice selection of game music you got there! Would you be interested in the original version (CD only) of the music from Red Alert? As you are sharing here, I’d part with it for free. In case you are for it, drop me a mail.
Thanks!
Thanks, great site, I have also a lot of Soundtrack, maybe you want to take some of mine ? Contact me if you want !
Hello my friend. I saw your banner and I felt a wave of nostalgia. Simon the Sorcerer (1 & 2) are the games of my childhood! You wouldn’t happen to know where I could buy or download copies of the DOS soundtrack, would you?
Many thanks,
Louis
Nice blog. I’ll use some of these musics in my rpgs. 🙂
Dominus, Hello and thank you for sharing all this music. I’d love if you could upload the Diablo 2 cinematic music, Diablo 2 Ambient Music and the Diablo 1 music again, all in Flac of course.
Hi Malic, I’m pretty short on time right now but I try to do it in the weekend or soon enough!
Don’t wanna stress you or anything just wanna remind you, that I’m waiting eagerly.
Bad news, I’ve checked my HDD and only found D1 music and D2 ambient but only in MP3, do you still want them?
Hmm I’m really only looking for the better quality files, where did you get them from? Maybe I can extract them or something like that if they are from the game files.
I can’t remember exactly, sorry 😦
Would you mind changing the composer of Populous the Beginning from Mark Knight to Mark ‘TDK’ Knight please – glad you enjoyed the soundtrack 🙂
Alright, thanks Mark!
Thank you 🙂
Keep up the good work! Any upcoming titles?
By the way, I have had errors (“Service Unavailable – We are currently experiencing technical difficulties. Please try again later.”) when trying to access some of the files that were hosted in the MS Office Live, as WarWind or Morrowind, for instance. Is this some temporary Live quirk or they are gone for good for some reason?
Thank you.
Check out Nemuer (http://nemuer.com/)… their music sounds sort of Diablo 2 like.
Thank you, sounds really good!
Hello,
I just wanted to say a very, very big “Thank you” for website and your effort!
I had a few songs from the game “Myth” which I owned and played many years ago. It was unbelievable to find the whole soundtrack here. I love this great music and I listen to it again and again.
Many thanks! 🙂
Stephan
I just want to thank you for this website. Even I only downloaded Lionhearth’s album, I will surely download some more. I really appreciate and admire the effort you’re doing here.
Thanks, I don’t have time to update it anymore but glad that is still makes people happy 🙂
Is there a way to convert The Elder Scrolls Arena soundtrack to some other audio format like .ogg or MP3?
Why is track 29-2 of The Elder Scrolls Arena soundtrack almost 2 hours long with most of it being complete silence?
Can you re-up all the scores please? I can’t find them anywhere else as you have them here. Thank you very much/
I found them thought the Soulbringer score. Thanks.
